It is wonderful to know that our hispanic college students are getting involved in politics, forming new social and networking organizations, and becoming visibile in the community. Please continue these positive efforts to raise awareness and understanding of people of all backgrounds and be a good example to our youth.

It was a bit of a surprise this morning to see so many white anti Mexican strategists meet at a Bozeman, Montana coffee shop to not just figure out ways to end illegal immigration. But, to echo the sentiments of Racism that is so large in one of Americas most Racist Cities, Bozeman, Montana.

While I have become an outcast republican because of support of Hillary Clinton, Gay Unions and I understand having some sort of legalized abortion.

Although, i am pro life in my own reality. I do not think the GOP or democrats are doing enough to educate against abortion.

One white man attending the Bozeman meeting was actually complaining that he saw Hispanic men shopping with wads of cash at a Smiths supermarket . He was also upset that these men were sending money back to their families in their home country. He said that he called the police but got no satisfaction. So he was going to hang out around smiths and follow these Hispanic men to see where they live and if their plates are registered and whatever other dirt he can dig up on them

When one white group member told him that is illegal. he said he did not care.

They're just Mexicans! As if Mexicans have no rights? My interactions with racists in Montana have been plentiful. it is hard to believe that in a state that was once totally native American and spoke no English. A state where white men raped, murdered and humiliated native Americans. There would not be white natives who would take responsibility for their xenophobic past. But not in Whitelandia. A place where "DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS HAVE BOTH OPPRESSED GENERATIONS OF NATIVE AMERICANS ".

One only has to listen to local radio talk shows in Bozeman area to hear the agendas of White Montanans and their bigoted opinions the Mexican culture and also Native Americans.

These bigoted white people fail to remember that all of their families came to the USA not speaking English. They came out west and stole land from native Americans. Forced their culture, religion and the English language on the many Native American tribes and broke every treaty that was made with the Native American tribes.

This type of 21st Century bigotry is inexcusable and narrow minded.
