LITTLE ROCK-Tennessee-Chattanooga received $325,000 for playing Arkansas Saturday night, and for a while it looked like the Mocs would get more than their money's worth. However, Arkansas pulled away late for a 34-15 win at Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium.

Chattanooga, a member of FCS (formerly Division I-AA), held with Arkansas for a while, but in the end the Razorbacks' running game was too much for the Mocs, as the Hogs finished with 154 rushing yards in the second half.

Juniors Felix Jones and Darren McFadden finished with 141 and 122 yards on the ground, respectively, marking the fifth time in as many games this season the duo has eclipsed the 100-yard mark.

McFadden entered the game 153 yards shy of the Arkansas career rushing record, but finished 31 yards shy of the record.

"I'm not disappointed," McFadden said of not getting the record. "I'm not out there playing for myself. I'm playing for my team. It's not something that distracted me. I put it in the back of my mind. I'm not playing to get a record."

Arkansas (3-2) got off to a rocky start early. Razorback center Jonathan Luigs snapped the ball over the head of quarterback Casey Dick on the game's first play. Dick recovered the ball, but was tackled in the end zone for a safety, giving the Mocs a 2-0 lead.

"We came out flat," Luigs said. "We weren't really focused. We missed assignments. I was snapping the ball over the heads. I think we thought we'd be able to come out here and walk on them, but Tennessee-Chattanooga is a better team than that."

Arkansas bounced back with two touchdowns in the first quarter, the first coming on a 2-yard run by McFadden with 8:43 to go and the second coming on a 24-yard touchdown strike from Dick to fullback Peyton Hillis late in the quarter.

Arkansas couldn't find the end zone again, though, in the first half.

The Razorbacks had some chances, but squandered good field position throughout the night. The most noticeable came with 6:57 left in the first quarter following a 45-yard punt return by Jerell Norton to the UTC 23-yard line.
