Fans are invited to be a part of head coach John Pelphrey's first Arkansas Razorbacks basketball practice on Oct. 12 in Bud Walton Arena.
Doors will open to the public at 7:30 p.m. A short practice followed by a 20-minute scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m.
All players and coaches will be available on the concourse for autographs prior to the practice. The 2007-08 basketball schedule poster will be available for the first 5,000 fans who attend. Fans are allowed to bring their own items to be signed as well. This is the only time this season the entire team will be available to fans.
The 2007-08 basketball team returns nine lettermen and all five starters from a squad that won 21 games last season. The roster includes six seniors from last year's team, which advanced to the finals of the 2007 Southeastern Conference Tournament and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
The first game is Oct. 26 when the Hogs play the annual Red-White Game. The season begins on Nov. 2 when Arkansas plays host to West Florida in an exhibition game. Another exhibition game is set for Nov. 6 against Campbellsville. The regular-season opener is Nov. 9 against Wofford.
