The Foo Fighters concert scheduled to take place tonight at Barnhill Arena has been cancelled because singer Dave Grohl is ill, according to the band's Web site.
Grant Spencer of the UA Headliner Concert Committee, which was responsible for bringing the Foo Fighters to the UA, is advising people to hold on to their tickets to see if the committee can re-schedule the show.
Grohl expressed his regret at having to cancel the concert, writing in a Jan. 27 message on Foofighters.com, "The last thing in the world I want to do is jump up on stage and give you guys some half-ass version of what a Foo's show is all about."
He went on to write, "You have my word that we'll make it up to you. We always keep those promises."
The Foo Fighter's show scheduled for tomorrow night at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, Ok., has also been cancelled, according to the Web site.
