2008 has started off on a very bad note for several university campuses across the country. In the past month, four U.S. universities, including the UA, have experienced the violent deaths of students. I got lucky my freshman year.

I'm talking about my math class, of course. I didn't know it at the time, but I was extremely fortunate to have one of the few sections of Survey of Calculus that was taught in the traditional lecture format. I wouldn't go through the trouble of describing it here, but apparently this is becoming about as common as a truly original metaphor in a college newspaper's editorial writing.… Post the First Comment

Great front-page story on the steps graduating students take to apply for graduation and to collect all of the nice things that go along with graduation.
